I detective indagano su un caso di stupro sfociato in omicidio. L'indagine e' ostacolata da una donna che agisce per un suo misterioso tornaconto personale...

Sinossi alternativa: The detectives are investigating the rape and murder of a young woman found in a back alley. The scene of the crime is traced to an abandoned warehouse, which looks like a scene of a date that's gone bad. The wall has the words, "Vampyre Sacrifice" spray painted on it. Back at the SVU, Fin shows Stabler and Benson Vampyre Sacrifice's music website, along with an uploaded music video that was shot at the warehouse. After the band's lead singer, Trey Greenway's alibi checks out, the detectives are back to square one. Warner tells Cragen that their victim suffered from a blood-clotting ailment and her death may have been unintentional, meaning she could have accidentally been cut during her attack and bled out. Just then, a group of girls walk into the SVU, each carrying the NYPD fliers with their "Jane Doe" on them. The women all belong to a gay rights organization headlined by an outspoken advocate, Babs Duffy. Babs identifies the victim as Alyssa Davies and vows to not let SVU sweep her case under the rug. She wants to be part of the investigation or she refuses to give the detectives any more details on Alyssa's background. When Stabler threatens an arrest, Babs tells him where they can find Alyssa's girlfriend, Sharon Harris. Stabler and Benson head to the lesbian bar, Kitty Korner in hopes of finding out more of what happened on the night Alyssa was murdered. They find a group of Babs' followers handing out fliers featuring Alyssa's face, warning people about attacks on lesbians. The manager of the bar tells the detectives they should take a closer look at Sharon. As the detectives learn more about what kind of aggressive lesbian Sharon is, they also learn just how media savvy Babs really is. She's on all the local television stations asking for donations for her organization, "LesBe Strong," which is dedicated to helping lesbians of New York City. Meanwhile, Fin discovers Sharon has a rap sheet for multiple assaults. One of Sharon's ex-girlfriend's tells detectives of Sharon's violent side and also confirms that Sharon's nickname during sex was "Mitch," which was the last word Alyssa said before dying. Stabler and Benson bring Sharon in, but not before she punches Stabler in the face. Back at the SVU, Sharon refuses to talk if Stabler is in the room. As Benson is interrogating Sharon, she is interrupted with news of another attack. Stabler and Benson head to the hospital to interview Rosemary, one of the women passing out fliers before. Her attack sounds very similar to what happened to Alyssa. Rosemary panics when she discovers her attacker stole her Blackberry, which contains information to all the women who belong to "LesBe Strong." Rosemary tells Babs that her attacker mentioned a personal vendetta against her. Stabler and Benson talk Babs into hiding out, until they catch the rapist. Babs confides in Benson that she has never known what it was like to sit back and not doing anything. Benson promises she'll catch the rapist. Babs catches Benson off-guard when she plants a big kiss on her. Benson backs away and assures Babs she's a straight woman. Benson returns to the SVU to check on security footage with Stabler. They get a grainy shot of the rapist, but nothing they can identify. Meanwhile, Benson asks Stabler if she gives off a "gay vibe." He does point out that she doesn't have the best track record with men and then skirts around the question. A phone call comes in saying their suspected rapist has been shot. The detectives rush to Babs' apartment where they find a shaken Babs outside with police and an angry mob of women gathering. The cops tell Benson and Stabler that the suspect was caught on the fire escape of Babs' building with a tire iron and was shot and wounded by police. Babs remains shaken by the whole scene. Back at the hospital, Benson and Stabler realize their suspect doesn't have a tattoo like the man caught on the surveillance camera. They dive into the man's belongings and find his phone has photos of him and Babs looking very much like a couple. Benson and Stabler head back to Babs' place to confront her on what they found. Babs acknowledges her relationship with Larry and says she's in a state of confusion. She reveals that Larry was offering his own form of protection for Babs, while staking out her fire escape. She panics and begs Stabler and Benson to not reveal any of this information to her group. Benson wants Babs to admit the truth that she's bisexual. Babs agrees to start a rally of support, in hopes the real rapist will come out of hiding. Babs takes the microphone at the LesBe Strong rally and admits to everybody the man that was shot was her boyfriend. Rosemary and the rest of the women call Babs a liar and start booing her. During the uproar, Stabler spots the man with the tattoo and they bring him in for questioning. Turns out he's the man who has been creating all the fliers for LesBe Strong. Cabot reminds Benson they have no real evidence tying Ronnie to his crimes, giving Benson an idea. Benson storms in the interrogation room and dismisses Stabler's job. She reveals her LesBe Strong button on her shirt and tells Ronnie she's a big lesbian supporter. Benson immediately calls Ronnie out for his losing streak with women and is clearly agitating him with her observations. Ronnie's mood turns dark and he tells Benson that she would love it if he raped her the same way those other two women did. That's all Benson needs for a confession. Babs stops by and thanks Benson for her work on getting a confession. Babs vows that even though she lost a lot of members when she came out as a bisexual, she still plans to build LesBe Strong to be more open to everybody. Benson vows her group already has the support of the SVU. Babs says Larry dumped her after being shot and apologizes for kissing Benson earlier. After, she plants a kiss on Stabler for fun.
