Trama
Un gesto gentile di Mitch nei confronti di un collaboratore gli si ritorcerà contro. Intanto Alex dice di aver trovato un fidanzato.
Sinossi alternativa: When Alex (Ariel Winter) tells Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) she has a boyfriend, they worry they've put too much pressure on her and has made up an imaginary boyfriend. Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) both have parties that they are dragging the other to and Jay has a clever plan to get himself out of it, but Manny (Rico Rodriguez) just might spoil everything. Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) just got a beautiful white couch delivered but when Mitch is stuck helping out Brenda (guest star Kristen Johnston), a distressed co-worker, and allows her to stay – it is a mishap waiting to happen.
