Trama, Sinossi Episodio
Sinossi originale: As Monroe's trial commences, Nick and Hank take their findings about Officer Acker to the Captain. Renard suggests having Wu take the first crack at Acker to see if he'll reveal anything but before Wu can begin, Nick, Hank and the Captain agree it's time to bring Wu fully up to speed on woge. Monroe, meanwhile, is being splashed with blood and having his charges read to him, namely marrying outside his bloodline and befriending a Grimm. Even in such a sinister situation, however, Monroe can't keep his signature sarcasm at bay and when he jokes about the proceedings, he's immediately knocked to the ground. Hank pulls Wu aside in order to brief him about what he's about to see. When Wu says he's ready, Nick brings in Bud, who's volunteered to woge in front of Wu. When Bud first woges, Wu is decidedly freaked out but he takes to his new reality quickly and asks to see Bud do it again. After a few minutes with Bud, Wu declares, "I'm in." At Nick and Juliette's house, Rosalee is busying herself trying to find the connection between her wedding guest list and Shaw but so far, she's run into nothing but dead ends. Juliette, preoccupied with her own Wesen problems, takes a moment to ask Rosalee how Hexenbiests are made but Rosalee is not interested in discussing anything but finding Monroe. She says they need to talk to Bud for more information. When a Wesenrein member declares he'll provide evidence of Monroe's crimes, Monroe undercuts him with another sarcastic quip. Riken orders Monroe be muzzled but instead, Monroe woges and makes a run for it. When a cloaked member catches up to him, Monroe tears him apart. The other members of the Wesenrein soon catch up and restrain Monroe. While they all want him to be killed immediately, Riken rules that only the tribunal can decide his fate. Wu brings Acker into the interrogation room and reprimands him for letting Monroe get kidnapped. When Acker sticks to his story, Wu calls him out on being a member of the Wesenrein. Acker woges into a Bauerschwein and lunges at Wu but there's no surprising Wu now. He punches Acker in the face, saying, "You're no Aswang." Nick and Hank enter then and Nick makes it clear he's not playing around. When Acker still doesn't budge, the Captain enters and throws Acker across the room. Not playing by the rules looks good on Nick and Renard. After going over Rosalee's wedding guest list, Bud tells Rosalee and Juliette he remembers that his friend John brought a real estate agent named Suzanne to the wedding. Thinking she might be their missing link, Bud leaves to find John and confirm. But when he gets into his truck, a member of the Wesenrein surprises him and knocks him unconscious. The Wesenrein member drives away in Bud's truck with Bud still inside. It doesn't take us long to learn where Bud's been taken when he's brought out as a witness at Monroe's trial. At first, Bud tries to pretend he doesn't know Monroe but when the Wesenrein threaten his life, Monroe gives Bud the go-ahead to tell the truth. Instead, Bud rambles to stall for time, causing a Wesenrein member to punch him square in the jaw. The Wesenrein really are big on the punching. Rosalee and Juliette head straight to Suzanne's real estate office, where Rosalee questions Suzanne about knowing anyone on Trubel's list of suspects. Suzanne reveals that her brother, Jesse, is friends with Shaw and a police officer. Juliette and Rosalee call Nick to tell him what they've learned - but what they really provide is a way to break Acker. Before the Wesenrein deliver their verdict, they give Monroe a chance to speak. He dismisses the Wesenrein for not being able to tell the difference between right and wrong and promises that no matter what they do, he will always love Rosalee. Unsurprisingly, the Wesenrein reacts by unanimously voting to execute him. At the precinct, Nick tells Acker his sister has been brought in for questioning. As Acker and Nick watch through a two-way mirror, Rosalee interrogates Suzanne. Nick assures Acker that whatever happens to Monroe will happen to his sister if he doesn't reveal the Wesenrein's location. Acker remains steadfast but when Nick leaves to escort Suzanne home, the Captain comes in and asks, "You know what Grimms do, right?" Soon enough, Acker caves and Nick, Hank, Wu, Renard, Juliette and Rosalee head out to rescue Monroe. At the site of the tribunal, Nick, Hank, Wu and the Captain agree to put their badges aside and do whatever it takes to save Monroe. The Wesenrein are preparing Monroe to be staked when Wu, Nick, Hank, the Captain, Juliette and Rosalee spring from the bushes, surrounding them. Riken locks eyes with Nick and woges, seeing he's a Grimm again. Foolishly, Riken and a few other members still attempt to flee. But our heroes are right behind them. Wu comes face to face with a Schakal, who pretends to surrender but then woges assuming he'll take Wu by surprise. It's the Schakal who is surprised, however, when Wu shoots him dead. Hank cuts off a Hässlich who retreats right into the Captain, fully woged as a Zauberbiest. He doesn't last long. In another corner of the forest, Juliette runs straight into Jonah, who knocks the gun out of her hands and pins her down. He believes he's won but then Juliette's Hexenbiest alter ego takes over and causes Jonah's head to explode. Being a Wesen might not be so bad after all. As Hank, Juliette and the Captain trickle back to the site of the tribunal, the group realizes Monroe and Rosalee are still out there, chasing Riken. When Monroe catches up to Riken, the two Blutbad battle it out. At one point, Riken garners the upper hand but Rosalee emerges, woged. She sends Riken to the ground and she and Monroe rip Riken to pieces. When they reunite with everyone else, Rosalee announces that Riken did not get away. Wu wonders what they're going to do with the survivors and we fast forward to the Captain's press conference, where he labels the Wesenrein as members of a violent hate group. Acker is arrested for being their leader and our heroes head to Monroe and Rosalee's house to celebrate. A truly touched Monroe and Rosalee can barely get their thank-yous out without tearing up, but there's one more treat Nick and Hank have in store for the couple: a police escort to bring them to the airport so they can finally take that honeymoon. With Nick away, Juliette turns to the Captain for help and shows up at his home. When Renard asks what's wrong, Juliette lets her woge answer the question. Will Renard be able to help Juliette? How much longer can Juliette go without revealing her state to Nick? Tune in to next week's Grimm to find out.
