TRAMA
Un dodicenne viene scaricato davanti a un ospedale. Presenta segni di percosse. Benson e Stabler sospettano subito di un teenager che era stato visto litigare con lui.
A twelve year-old boy, Sean Hamill, is dumped on the hospital steps with a stab wound that leaves him paralyzed. The van used to dump him belongs to the pastor at Catholic School Sean attends. Stabler and Benson look to, Charlie, a boy the parents say beat up Sean the week before. Charlie beat Sean up so he would stop picking on his eight year-old step sister, Emma, who was a constant target of Sean's bullying because her mother's were gay. Emma confesses to hurting Sean with the scissors after he tried to kiss her and then cut off her ponytail. The courts decide not to push for juvenile detention but rather for counseling. When her biological mother dies, she is released to her other mother, Zoe, who is then is accused of sexually molesting Emma. Huang believes this is Parental Alienation Syndrome that the grandmother is manipulating Emma to believe so she can get custody. In court the grandmother reveals that her attorney coached her how to illicit a false confession from Emma after her giving the grandmother false information about gay couples raising children.
