Grammy Awards 2018, domina Bruno Mars

La 60a edizione dei Grammy Awards si è svolta il 28 gennaio 2018 al Madison Square Garden di New York, con la cerimonia di premiazione condotta per la seconda volta da James Corden. La cerimonia riconosce le migliori canzoni, composizioni e artisti dell'anno uscite tra l'1 ottobre 2016 e il 30 settembre 2017. Lo show è stato anticipato a gennaio per evitare di competere con i Giochi olimpici invernali del 2018 a Pyeongchang, come nel caso del 2010 e del 2014. Le candidature erano state rese note il 28 novembre 2017 con l'artista che ne ha ricevute il maggior numero Jay-Z con 8 candidature ma tornato a casa a mani vuote.

Tra i presenters dei vincitori alle categorie, che si sono alternati sul palco: Tony Bennett, Dave Chappelle, Kelly Clarkson, Victor Cruz, Eve, Jim Gaffigan, Katie Holmes, Nick Jonas, Anna Kendrick, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Shemar Moore, Trevor Noah, Sarah Silverman, Hailee Steinfeld e Donnie Wahlberg.

Il premio come Registrazione dell'anno (Record of the Year) è andato a "24K Magic" di Bruno Mars, che si è portato a casa anche altri cinque premi: Canzone dell'anno (Song of the Year) per That's What I Like, Album dell'anno (Album of the Year) per '24K Magic', Miglior R&B Performance per "That's What I Like", Migliore Canzone R&B per "That's What I Like", Miglior R&B Album per "24K Magic", Album migliore, non classico per '24K Magic'. Con i sei premi Grammy di quest'anno, Bruno Mars si è portato a casa 11 Grammy in carriera.

Il premio per la categoria dei rapper è andato a Kendrick Lamar, che torna a casa con cinque Grammys, tra cui il miglior album rap ("Damn") e la miglior canzone rap ("Humble").
