TRAMA
Sempre innamoratissimi, Andrew e Zelda, però, non riescono a trovare un attimo per poter stare da soli e godersi appieno il loro rapporto in continua crescita. A casa di Zelda, infatti, Stephie e Joseph sono pressoché onnipresenti; a casa di Andrew, invece, Stu è alle prese con la sua reazione alle recenti delusioni. Per sopperire a queste evidenti difficoltà, Andrew confessa al suo migliore amico che sta seriamente pensando all'idea di trasferirsi. Stu reagisce da Stu e invece di dar voce al suo dispiacere all'idea che Andrew se ne vada, afferma di aver già trovato un coinquilino: trattati di Joseph, con il quale l'uomo è diventato amico. Quando poi Andrew porta Zelda a vedere il suo appartamento, uno dei tanti equivoci, porta la ragazza a pensare che Andrew voglia andare a vivere con lei e invece di chiedere spiegazioni accetta. Con Zelda "fuori dai giochi", allora, anche Joseph propone a Stephie di vivere insieme. Invece di andare a vivere con Stu andrà a vivere direttamente con la sua ragazza. Stephie e Zelda presto entrano nel panico per questo passo così importante che, se da una parte potrebbe portare a cose molto belle, dall'altra sembra un tantino avventato. Alla fine, comunque, le ragazze danno voce ai loro dubbi e tutti convengono sul fatto che andare a vivere insieme sia un passo importante, che necessita di tempo, preparazione e decisione unanime. Così, di fatto, le cose rimangono invariate, anche se alla fine Stephie e Stu organizzano un appuntamento per i loro migliori amici, lasciandoli così liberi di vivere – almeno per un week end – il loro rapporto in santa pace.
Andrew and Zelda have difficulty being alone together — Joseph and Stephie are all over each other at Zelda's place and a very needy Stu is at Andrew's place. Zelda and Andrew devise a plan to connect Joseph and Stu as buddies, just to get a few hours in Andrew's apartment to themselves. Joseph and Stu attend the Clippers game, and Zelda has dinner at Andrew's. Stephie bursts in, complaining about the new best friends. Stu returns later, effectively ending the romantic mood. Andrew and Stu argue, prompting Andrew to go apartment hunting. He asks Zelda for her opinion of a promising rental and she replies it is "perfect for us." They are both shocked that they have just agreed to be roommates. At the lease signing, they both are hesitant and do not sign. They agree it is just too soon; they'll know when the time is right. They plot an evening together but must both attend to Stephie and Stu's respective needs, only to learn that the two have prepared them a romantic dinner and, more importantly, have agreed to vacate the place for three days.
