TRAMA
Carol si rende conto prestissimo di che grosso errore sia stato accompagnare Phil nel suo viaggio di allontanamento da Tucson.
Phil and Carol leave Tucson and go on their own road trip in an RV across the United States. Despite Carol's wishes to go back, Phil refuses, fearing the outcome of his return. Later, after he unknowingly abandons Carol at a gas station, Phil searches for her and reluctantly returns to Tucson, hoping she might be there, only to find the whole cul-de-sac abandoned and his house inexplicably damaged. Meanwhile, in space, Phil's estranged brother Mike searches for human life through a telescope and loses another one of his companion worms.
