TRAMA

Una donna incinta è stata picchiata. A Benson e Stabler la donna rivela di aver deciso di abortire benchè il suo uomo fosse contrario. Ma l'uomo svela un'altra realtà.

Josie Bisset (Melrose Place) returns to television. She plays ("Jennifer") a pregnant woman who still chooses to drink knowing it can cause Fetal Alcohol Syndrome to her unborn child. The father of the baby takes her to court in order to stop her from drinking. Becomes a unique case of Roe v. Wade v. Father. Does a father have rights to protect his child when the mother is in essence committing murder - or at the very least, child endangerment. Shirley Jones plays "Bradshaw" the attorney for the father. Beverly D'Angleo reprises her recurring role as legal aid "Rebecca Balthus." Mariette Hartley has the biggest role as the tough-as-nails defense attorney, "Scarry."
