Kids’ Choice Awards 2022, i Vincitori

L'attrice Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) e lo sportivo della NFL Rob Gronkowski hanno condotto i Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2022. Lo show si è tenuto in America (presso il Barker Hangar a Santa Monica) sabato 9 aprile ma sarà visibile in Italia con tre messe in onda speciali: da mercoledì 13 aprile alle 20:00 in anteprima su Sky on demand, venerdì 15 Aprile alle 20:00 su Nickelodeon, Sky 605, e sabato 16 Aprile alle 20:00 su Super!, canale 47 del DTT e di tivusat e sul 625 di Sky. Per la prima volta in assoluto, spettacolo arricchito da 1.000 epiche "slimmate" e dozzine di scherzi super divertenti per celebrare le star preferite del mondo del cinema, TV, musica, sport e altro.

Quest'anno, nominati per la prima volta Olivia Rodrigo, Saweetie, Elizabeth Olsen, Awkwafina, The Kid LaROI, Doja Cat e tanti altri. A guidare il gruppo con quattro nomination a testa: Taylor Swift, Adele, Danger Force, High School Musical: The Musical: La serie, iCarly, Cobra Kai, e The SpongeBob Movie: Amici in Fuga.

Tra i performer che si sono esibiti sul palco dei  Kids' Choice Awards 2022: Kid Cudi, vincitore del Grammy Award e artista discografico multiplatino, per eseguire un medley del suo nuovo singolo "Stars in the Sky" e "Pursuit of Happiness", e Jack Harlow, il rapper più nominato ai Grammy Award nonché uno degli artisti più in voga della musica attuale, che si è esibito con "Industry Baby" e gli ultimi singoli "Nail Tech" e "First Class" tratti dal suo prossimo album "Come Home The Kids Miss You". Cudi ha dichiarato prima dell'evento: "Non riesco a credere che alla mia età andrò ai Kids' Choice Awards! Sono cresciuto amando Nickelodeon ed è sempre stato un mio sogno parteciparci. Non vedo l'ora di esibirmi con il mio nuovo singolo 'Stars in the Sky', insieme a un medley speciale dedicato a tutti i sognatori là fuori, che potrebbero avere difficoltà nella vita. Il mio sostegno va a loro!" Harlow ha dichiarato prima dell'evento: "Sono cresciuto con Nickelodeon, quindi essere nominato ed esibirmi ai Kids' Choice Awards è pazzesco. Spero di essere inondato di slime!"

Tra gli ospiti presenti allo show: Olivia Rodrigo, Gabrielle Union, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews, Sof i a Vergara, Chloe x Halle, Charlie Puth, Chance the Rapper, Charli D'Amelio, Dixie D'Amelio, Jace Norman, MrBeast, Joshua Bassett, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Jordan Fisher, Sabrina Carpenter, Sofia Carson, Josh Peck, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Isla Fisher, Peyton List, Xavier Woods, Ralph Macchio, Unspeakable e Karl Jacobs. Sono inoltre apparse le star di Nickel odeon: That Girl Lay Lay, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green (That Girl Lay Lay); Havan Flores, Dana Heath, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Luca Luhan, Michael D. Un altro momento importante della serata l'apparizione della First Lady, Jill Biden, per celebrare, con un discorso toccante, le generazioni più giovani ringraziandole per la loro resilienza.

Come per tutte le edizioni dei KCA, lo slime il vero protagonista ma quest'anno, insieme al dirigibile di Nickelodeon, non si è limitato solo al nostro mondo arrivando anche nel Metaverso con gli avatar delle celebrità e tanti contenuti mozzafiato.

Nel corso della serata, sono state svelate clip teaser esclusive del film animato d'azione e avventura "DC League of Super – Pets" , presentato dai membri del cast vocale Kevin Hart e Dwayne Johnson; e la commedia animata di arti marziali, "Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank" , presentata dal membro del cast vocale Samuel L. Jackson.
