TRAMA
Alex parte per Roma con Sam e Michelle. Ha davanti a se' due missioni: la prima, ufficiale, ma con un finto obiettivo ( recuperare un database dell'SVR) ; la seconda, non ufficiale, ma con un obiettivo reale, individuare l'uomo assoldato dall' SVR per Black Dagger. Ad aiutarlo c'e' Fadi, un agente libanese, caro amico di Katya.
Victor is now working with the O'Connors to take down Black Dagger. He explains to Alex that the SVR will wire $50 million to the triggerman in Rome; as the task force follows the leads the O'Connors planted, Alex will slip away to see who picks up the SVR's money. Before he leaves, Katya puts him in touch with a contact named Fadi, an old friend who will act as field backup. To help him escape his colleagues, Katya gives her son two pills: a blue and a green. The green is an emetic that simulates food poisoning, and the blue is the antidote. The task force heads to Italy, where Michelle and Alex take their flirtation to the next level and share a steamy hookup in Alex's hotel room. Meanwhile, Sam, posing as a Hong Kong businessman, meets with a broker whom Victor supplied with a cache of low-level SVR intelligence that the task force believes is Mikhail's egg. The price is a whopping $15 million, and the CIA doesn't want to spend that kind of money, so they send Sam in with a suitcase full of high-quality counterfeit money. Only, the seller and his men quickly make the money for what it is, and Sam has to shoot his way out of a sticky situation. Right before having to debrief Langley on the shootout, Fadi gives the word that the triggerman is on the move after picking up the money, so Alex takes the green pill and gets out of the call. He then races to meet Fadi, but loses the blue antidote pill along the way. Katya and Mark tell Alex to call off the operation - he'll be too sick to pull it off - but he ignores them. Fadi reports the operative left his car and driver and is now on foot. Just then, the man marks Fadi, and the two get into a scuffle. Suddenly, gunfire rings out and they are both shot. Alex reaches the scene to find the two dead bodies and realizes the driver was the actual triggerman, escorting his own cutout. That night, the operative, named Mr. Christoph, takes a call from the Rezident. He has the money and can start the mission in two days.
