Biografia

Trained in music and acting, Richard Sammel is an internationally renowned actor with experience in theatre as well as in front of the cameras, where he has worked in more than a hundred films and television productions, both in Europe and in the United States. Since his debut in the 80s, he has been working practically non-stop in projects under the orders of directors of the stature of Quentin Tarantino (Inglorious Bastards), Roberto Benigni (Life is Beautiful), Martin Campbell (Casino Royale), Bertrand Tavernier (Safe Conduct), Claude Lelouch (Les Misérables), Jean Paul Rappeneau (The Horseman on the Roof) and Michel Hazanavicius (OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies), among many others. He has also appeared in 3 Days to Kill, written by Luc Besson and in television series including The Strain, created by Guillermo del Toro, The Name of The Rose, Peacemaker, and A French Village. In addition, Richard has performed, danced, and directed theater throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States.
